Leap House

Patina meets crisp white; chunky meets light; and refined meets playful at this revamp named after the leap year it was originally built for, 1968. Located in one of Northern Virginia’s pockets of mid-century modern neighborhoods, the residence’s gut renovation provided a contemporary base in which the selection of furnishings could happy hop between decades. Sleek stones and crisp lines coincide with vintage pieces and iconic silhouettes. The use of graphics, from repetitive lines to high contrast marble veining, draws the eye through the space in a composed way.

Goes well with Ella Fitzgerald, figs and prosciutto, and one more round of Cards Against Humanity.
